The Conservation Commission consists of five volunteer residents.  The members have been appointed by the Town Manager to three year terms. These appointments are confirmed by the Board of Selectmen.
Interested in helping the commission protect wetlands?

From time to time, the Conservation Commission has a vacancy on the five member volunteer board.  Submit a letter of interest to the Town Manager if you are interested in an appointment to the Commission.  Civil engineering, wetland science, construction, landscaping, and law are useful but not necessary backgrounds for Commission appointment.  Residency in Danvers is required.

Staff support for the Conservation Commission can be reached at the Town Hall.
